The Pine Barrens Jamboree!
The
Pine Barrens Jamboree is sponsored by the Ocean County Board
of Chosen Freeholders through its Department of Parks and
Recreation. It is FREE; in fact shuttle buses are available
to take visitors back and forth from parking areas at the
O.C. Voc-Tech School and if needed, Ocean Twp. Elementary
School. This is the perfect venue for a tast of "Piney"
culture, from the day-long music provided through the Pinelands
Cultural Society (Albert Music Hall), to the many
artists, crafters, cooks, farmers and others that display
or sell their products at this great day in the Pines! Also,
many non-profit groups offer a myriad of educational materials
about the NJ Pine Barrens. There's something for young and
old alike here, so come on out and enjoy the fun! (Photos

Then there's the music - all day long! Many of the "regulars"
from Albert Music Hall/Pinelands Cultural Society come out to
play. |
