Lee Brothers Cranberry Farm Tour

The Lee Family graciously allowed me to bring a group of visitors to their farm for a private tour during October's harvest. Here are some photos of the day!

Ed. note: Lee Brothers Cranberry Farm is NOT open to the public.
Tours are not available to the general public at this time.

October Cranberry Harvest at Lee Brothers, Inc., members of the Ocean Spray Cooperative.

In the distance is the tour bus, and behind that, the yellow farm buildings of Lee Brothers 1,800-acre Cranberry Farm, located in Woodland and Washington Township off Route 563 in Burlington County.

The day was cool and windy, but nobody seemed to mind!

Steve Lee IV gave an informative talk about the industry. Note the items on the wall - they are old harvesting tools.

Steve talked about the cranberry vine, the different varieties, and how the cranberry is grown.

Of course, the actual harvest was the most exciting part!
Thanks to Steve Lee IV of Lee Brothers Cranberry Farm, his family and his hard-working but friendly - and photogenic - staff for a memorable day!
